|U.S. WW2 M4 Bayonet - KI|
U.S. WW2 M4 bayonet and US M8A1 scabbard. Bayonet crossguard marked by US M4 KI. Hard to find Kinfolks (KI) marked bayonet. Nice brown leather grip and good condition M8A1 scabbard. Overall average worn and used condition with much wear to the blade.
Additional background: The M4 bayonet was introduced in 1944 for use with the M1 carbine. The M4 bayonet was designed for quick production using a minimum of strategic metals and machine processes. The M4 used a relatively narrow 6.75 inch bayonet style spear point blade with a sharpened 3.5 inch secondary edge.
